PBK rant

I bought my baby bedding way too early, then when we painted the nursery I decided that I HATED the bedding (is indecisiveness a pregnancy symptom too?).  I went to return on day 32 of their 30 day return policy so I could only get a gift card, which is fine however I think I spend more than enough money at PB & PBK for them to bend the rules a bit but oh well.  Aside from it taking almost 6 weeks, numerous follow ups, and issues with UPS, I finally received my gift cards.  I used the gift cards and bought the letters that I wanted to hang in his room.  After placing the order and paying for it, I receive an email stating everything shipped.  The next day I received a follow up email indicating that the letter 'N' will not be available for shipment until 2/2012, therefore they canceled the order of the 'N'.  Okay.....I now do not want any of the letters because I can't spell his name, REALLY???  I attempted to cancel the entire order but it is too late, then they proceeded to tell me that I will have to pay for a UPS pick up for the remaining letters.  After speaking to numerous people I finally had someone tell me that I will not be charged shipping to send back 90% of my child's name, how nice of them!

Oh my! I'd be angry, too. W/their prices, I EXPECT exceptional customer service and I don't think that is asking too much. Sorry this is happening to you :-(

omg how frustrating! We were thinking of doing the letters in our sons room too, but if i had gone through all that you have id wanna give up! are you going to order letters from somewhere else? That really does suck, feb of 2012...really??? dumb!

We are still going to do the letters.  Instead of the capital letters we will just do the lower case from PBK.  I have $250 in gift cards which is the only reason I am going to get them from there.  I hate poor customer service, especially when I do not feel that I was being unreasonable, at all!

I'd be pissed too.

Not to mention their shipping isn't cheap.  They can do better.  I'd b*tch until they made me happy.
