Have I "missed the boat" on this one? It seems like most people have their LO baptized when they are teeny tiny and I'm already feeling like I should have had Liana baptized already. Add to that the fact that DD1 has not even been baptized yet (She is almost 3) because we were not going to church regularly when she was born and I feel like a total slacker.
Would it be weird to have them both baptized at the same time? We do have a church that we have been attending fairly regularly for about the past 6 months, so I am hoping that the minister would be willing to do a baptism for us even though we aren't members of the church (yet).
Re: How old was LO when you had them baptized?
We had her baptism at 11 weeks.
I don't think it would be odd to have them done at the same time.

Josie will be 2 days shy of 6 months. I wish we would have done it earlier but we weren't church goers. I am kind of happy now though because it will be nice out and J will be able to interact with our family a bit more.
And no, it would not be weird to baptize them both. I wasn't baptized until I was 13 and my sister was 9. I think it's nice to do it together.
Francesca Pearl is here! Josephine Hope is almost 3!
It's never too late to be baptized but in my culture we tend to do it within the first month or two so DD was baptized right before turning 2 months old.
I also don't think it's weird to have both of your kids baptized at the same time and if you're comfortable with the church you're currently attending, I'm sure the minister will be more than happy to welcome your children into the church.
Our girls just got baptized last weekend at 5.5 months. It's never too late and I think it's a great idea to have them baptized together!!
DS was a few days short of 3 months. DD was 7 months. In both cases, it was about when we were traveling (DS was baptized in my hometown, DD in DH's hometown), not about their specific age.
And hey, better late than never... and our church frequently baptizes sibling sets.
