show me your perfect BFP charts and tell me how to do this ?

Ladies, I am already pregnant and I did not chart because it looks like a math problem gone wrong to me. However, my great friend has been TTC a while and now her DH is going to try to chart for her (because she too is scared by the whole thing!)

Any pointers or links to what a "good" chart looks like? She is a few days pre-o so hopefully this is the month.

I think you are refering to BBT charting (where you take your temp in the morning) I did this before I got pregnant. Here are few good websites

I learned all about it through fertility friend as well. There is a series of lessons they email to you that were really informative. I also read 'Taking Charge of Your Fertility'. SO useful!

i didn't chart. we bought the Clearblue Easy Fertility Monitor and it was AWESOME. you poas every morning and it just tells you if you're at low, high, or peak (ovulation) fertility. it's a little pricey, but you can find them on ebay for less than retail. if they have the money, i'd recommend this in a heartbeat.

Hey McRib - ditto PPs on the Fertility Friend recommendation. There's a chart gallery there that you can select based on "ovulatory", "pregnancy", etc. As you'll see, there's a wide range of what is considered normal or "good". I've seen some ugly-a$$ charts end up with BFPs and pretty charts end up with BFNs.

Pretty charts don't always equal BFP's,but you prob. remember that from TTGP. Charts just really help you figure out when you O'd and if your timing was good. Mine is in my siggy.

I would suggest fertility friend. It's a great online tool complete with tutorials on how to chart. It has a free trial type membership then you can pay for the VIP membership. It's a little confusing at first but once you pick it up it's like second nature.

How is her DH going to chart for her? Considering she will have to take her temp every morning, chart her CM, cervix, etc, it seems like something SHE should be doing. He can surely educate himself on what is going on, but I think the charting would be easier for her.

With that being said....my BFP chart is in my siggy.

Ditto PP, perfect charts mean nothing. No one would have looked at either of my BFP charts (especially with #1) and guessed that they were the successful ones. Charting is awesome for many reasons - it helps you to understand your body and helps you to TTC or TTA. Have your friend read Taking Charge of Your Fertility (I can't rave enough about this book) and look at Fertility Friend. She'll learn an incredible amount and how non-scary charting is!
