Highchairs Q

Are you all using your highchairs yet? DD is 4 months and 1 week old, so we have less than two months until we start giving some solids. That makes me think about getting a highchair. I'm taking recommendations! Also, is there anyone who's not planning on buying one? I could see getting the tray for the bumbo to work for a while.

We have a Stokke but haven't used it yet.  I still need to order a couple accessories for it (tray, padding).  We have the infant adapter so I guess we could try it, but I think it might be a huge FAIL since K isn't sitting well on his own yet.

We have the FP space saver chair. Love it! We still use it for DS1 without the tray now. It's nice that its so portable- we bring it to my parents house all the time.

We have the FP Space Saver, too. So far, LO just sits with us while we're eating. We love it and I've heard nothing but positive reviews

We use ours too at dinnertime when we are all together. We had been putting him in the RnP but he was trying to see what was going on up high so we put him in our high chair with a toy or two.  We aren't starting solids til 6 months, so he just chills in there for now.  We have the FP space saver and we love it too. it fit onto our regular kitchen chairs no problem and so easy to take down and put away when we have real company.

we have the fisher price space saver and LO sits in it while we eat dinner.  I LOVE the space saver.  I've sat for kids with all different kinds of high chairs and it's by far my fave!

I have the First Years feeding char (similar idea to the FP space saver).  I ADORE this chair- it sits on a chair like the Space Saver, it's super padded, swivels, tilts, it's great.  LO loves it.  We haven't done solids yet but he sits with us at meals so we can have more "family time".

I've got the Fisher Price Healthy Care Booster seat. We never bought a high chair and haven't missed it. I love this booster because it folds up to be portable, comes with an insert with toys on it, and isn't so tall that it prevents being pushed under the table once your kid just needs the boost, not the tray.

As a general recommendation, if you go with a highchair with padding bare in mind that the least amount of crevices for crumbs the better!
