Spotting after retrieval

I had my IVF #2 retrieval today and now I'm spotting and red in color. (TMI: only when I wipe and light on a pad but red). For my first IVF I didn't spot at all. I also have stronger cramps this time than last. Did you experience red blood? They said spotting was normal but wondering how much and if red is normal?

I'm shocked you didn't get written discharge instructions.

Going though a maxipad in a few hours is not good, neither is a temperature. Spotting, totally typical.

I did get written instructions and it says pink or brown spotting is normal. Mine is light but is redish and mainly only when I wipe ( light on a pad). So I assume ok.  Thanks for your reply

Good to hear that you got instructions. 

Not good:
fever over 101
persistent nausea/vomiting
severe abdomincal paint/swelling
fainting
burining w/urination

Can expect:
vaginal bleeding similar to a light period and mild lower abdominal cramps.
