video monitors-have one?

do you have one? do you love it or hate it? Why? 

A friend from work just gave us the older style summer infant TV looking one that she didn't use for her son and it's really cool. I think this would've helped when we first put Addison in the crib and such. I wouldn't have been such a spaz... I could literally see Addy breathing on this one so I can only imagine a newer one (color and all that) would ROCK. Just trying to figure out if it's worth getting a better one for numero dos!

I have the one you described. I like it! We didn't go with the handheld version because I could see the bigger screen on the tv thing easier in the middle of the night.

We have one and love it - still use it even with DS1 (he just transitioned to a toddler bed and being able to see him when he makes noise has been awesome). I would keep the one you got

See but then you say that and I think maybe I'll need two cuz I'll wanna keep this one for Addy... hmmm... There is one that does multiple cameras that DH was looking at... Thanks for the thought!

Oh man, we love ours! It's a lifesaver, especially now that we're moving her to her crib and I'm never sure if she's ok! (Apparently I'm having the "is the baby breathing?!!?" freakouts now at 8 months that I somehow avoided before!)

I have the one you described.  I LOVE IT!  We call it baby TV and it's my favorite channel!  LOL.

When he first started sleeping in his crib, he got a bad respiratory virus and I would get up at night and count his respirations to make sure he was not breathing too fast.  Now, we mostly love to watch him play in his crib after he wakes up - hugging his monkey and taking his clothes off.  I can't imagine anything better!

But, yes... we're also trying to figure out what to do for #2 (especially now that he's here, LOL).  Because we know we'll want to keep an eye on Quinn... since he'll be moving to a toddler bed soon (hopefully)...
