Pregnancy Test Question

in 1st Trimester

I took a First Response Early Result this morning and it was a faint positive. My period is due tomorrow. I went to the doctor in the afternoon and their urine test did not come up positive. They said their tests aren't as sensitive as the early result tests and did a blood test so I should find out tomorrow.

 So I came home & took 2 different brand early result tests & they were both positive. I am really hoping that I am actually pregnant. Did anyone ever have this happen?

    i took one the day after i was due.. and it was verry faint.  so i took a digital later that day!

    i just don't understand why my tests are positive but the dr's urine test wasn't positive so they did a blood test.

    I tested the date my period was due and got a faint positive. then I tested again in the morning and got a positive and a day later with a digital that said "pregnant". So at that point I knew I got my BFP.

    I hope you get you BFP and can join us here on the bump!!! Lots of baby Dust!!

    You said it yourself the nurse said their urine tests aren' as sensitive.  I would relax the blood work will give you the info you want :)

    I took a test 2 days after my period was due and it was negative, a week later I took one and it was positive. I would just relax until the blood test comes back, that will show all.

    try a digital... its sensitive and gives you a clear pregnant or not pregnant answer. It may just be too soon especially if you ovulated a little later in your cycle but i got a positive with a digital just 8dpo after getting a negative on a early result first response test... good luck!

    Two days in a row I got a faint faint positive. Second day I also had a urine test at Dr office and they got a negative.  I went home took a test that said "pregnant/not pregnant" and got a positive. Four days later went back into Dr's office, positive urine test.

    Like you said their tests are not as sensitive.

    I would say CONGRATS cause a line is a line!

    The blood test was positive!!! The HCG was 42 and the progestrone was 21 which they said was good!!! Yayyyy, I am only 4 weeks but soooo exciting!!!!
