I can't resist taking a peek at my Amazon.com registry from time to time

But they have a cool little feature where, at the top of the page so you don't have to scroll down and see what's been bought, there's a tally of how many items you have on your registry and how many have been purchased. I feel less guilty peeking at the number when I don't know what's been bought and by whom.
Re: Modified registry stalking ;)
I am so guilty of this.....
Babies R Us kinda has it, but all of your items would have to available online for it to work...
How so? I see "Total Items in Registry (73)" and "Items Available Online (50)" at the top of the page. Does it put the purchased items at the bottom of the page and reduce the Items Available Online number or something? I can't check because I've been told some things have been purchased. I assume there's an "Items Available In Store Only" section in the middle of the page so that's why the math wouldn't work out?

Yes, as items are purchased, the total items on your registry will decrease. So if someone bought something available online it would change to (72) and (49).
You're stronger than I was! I looked at mine all the time before my first shower! My husband tried to make me stop but I couldn't The ONLY thing I stopped myself from doing was clicking on the thank you list on Amazon. Knowing not only that it was purchased, but WHO purchased it seemed like it was going too far for some reason
Ahh. ok. I guess I could keep track of the total items number from now on and do the math myself. haha.
Been away from theBump for a while, getting active again for all the good advice
I, too, am guilty of this variety of registry stalking. Another item was bought today, but I don't know what.
BRU kind of has this, but you have to scroll all the way to the bottom of your registry to the section that says "Items Purchased (#)" ... so you kind of have to let your eyes glaze over as you scroll down so you don't see what's missing, and have to stop as soon as you see that section header! It's less perfect than Amazon, and you might spoil 1 or 2 surprises doing that, but it's better than full-blown reading what has been purchased!
