NTR: ? about internet service

Our internet provider has just upped the fee twice in the last 6 months. Is this pretty typical? I was trying to find other internet providers, but they all seem way more expensive (after the special offer is over). How much would you pay for just basic internet? I hate that they went forever without upping it and all of sudden they upped it twice. But, if it's relatively cheap, then maybe I should just pay it and not try to negotiate back to the old rate...

    Internet service is between 30 and 70 a month here ours is 39 since we wanted faster then dialup
