Something I am surprised by...re:weaning

is how much I DON"T eat anymore.

I had been nursing or pregnant for 4.5 years and I am amazed how much my appetite has decreased now that I am not nursing anymore. Even from just nursing 1-2 a day.

 I probably am hungry for 1/2 of what I used to eat. Maybe I will finally lose those last 5 pounds that stuck on.

I agree... and I was always FAR hungrier nursing than I ever was pregnant. After I weaned it was crazy how little I needed to satisfy my hunger... then just 3 months later, I'm pregnant again. Oh well!!!

Oh how I wish I could have said the same after I was done nursing/pumping?my appetite seemed to stay the same and remains so?2+ years later.

How did the weaning go for you (sorry if I missed an update)?

Totally happened to me too.  And my water intake drastically decreased.

Selfishly, I don't want to wean.  I like to eat.
