1. What will your first words to baby be? probably Happy Birthday or Hi little boy/girl
2. What will be your first post baby meal? I'm hoping for a big hoagie
3. What is your child care situation? mom and MIL two days a week and babysitter three days
4. How long do you plan on waiting to have visitors? visitors will probably come over as soon as we get home from the hospital
5. How long do you plan on waiting to take baby out? I think baby's first big outing is going to be on Easter.
6. Any random thoughts can be inserted here. I'm starting to feel a little envious of the people who already have their babies, but I know my baby will come when he/she is ready.

2. What will be your first post baby meal? depends on what time of day if its the middle of the night i'll have to settle with what they have for snacks, morning a stack of "panda cakes", afternoon turkey burger, evening chicken quesadilla

4. How long do you plan on waiting to have visitors? at least a couple of hours
5. How long do you plan on waiting to take baby out? probably the day we get out we are suppose to go pick up our older boys if my inlaws can't bring them home

2. What will be your first post baby meal? Not sure - after #1 I made my ILs bring me a burger and milkshake when they came to meet the baby and I think I had a turkey sandwich after #2. I'll just see what I feel like in the moment!
3. What is your child care situation? I'm the childcare situation!
4. How long do you plan on waiting to have visitors? Probably a handful of family and friends at the hospital but I imagine most will wait until we're home and settled.
5. How long do you plan on waiting to take baby out? Probably Easter.

2. What will be your first post baby meal? An italian hero with oil and vinegar with potato salad and a coke
3. What is your child care situation? I will be home for 3 months and then go back half time: so one day per week in office and one day work from home. I will have a sitter/nanny to watch her on those days.
4. How long do you plan on waiting to have visitors? Grandparents at hospital, all FEW others can wait until I'm home.
5. How long do you plan on waiting to take baby out? Not sure - we'll see what pedi says.

1. What will your first words to baby be? i have no idea! Hi? ha!
2. What will be your first post baby meal? nothing special, there isn't anything i ate before that i really don't still eat.
3. What is your child care situation? daycare 3 days a week, the other 2, the babies father will watch him
4. How long do you plan on waiting to have visitors? i have let a few people know they can come to the hospital, granparents, godparents. As soon as i'm home, i'm sure i will be flooded with friends.
5. How long do you plan on waiting to take baby out? don't they go to the pedi right away? but if you mean like out and about to the store and stuff? I have no idea. I have a dog, so the baby be outside almost right away, while i walk him. I'll just wear him.
6. Any random thoughts can be inserted here. what the heck do they do during an internal that makes you cramp and bleed?!?!? i thought they just "took a look!"
1. What will your first words to baby be? I have no idea, haven't really thought about it.
2. What will be your first post baby meal? Whatever the hospital is serving for the next meal, I guess. We don't have friends/family in the area to go get something and DH isn't going to want to leave.
3. What is your child care situation? I'll be staying home for a while, if I do decide to go to work I'll figure it out then....lol
4. How long do you plan on waiting to have visitors? If we do have local visitors it'll be DH's coworkers and families, we'll probably have them wait a week or two. My mom will be coming out 4-6 weeks after the birth and ILs might come for a Memorial day, but if not will be out in July.
5. How long do you plan on waiting to take baby out? We'll don't know yet. We'll know when we're ready to try that step I think.

We have no family in the area to be there to help out, and while I think it will be a great growing experience for DH and I, we're going to be on our own for the first 4-6 weeks, which is both exciting and terrifying.

4. How long do you plan on waiting to have visitors? Some immediate family will visit in the hospital others will have to wait until we are home

6. Any random thoughts can be inserted here. I am very ready to have her here in my arms. I know though that she will come when she is ready, I think the anticipation is killing me though!
2. What will be your first post baby meal? The only thing I really want is a Venti Caramel Frappucino with an extra shot of espresso and extra caramel
3. What is your child care situation? I'm working during the day and taking care of the baby at night and DF is working at night and taking care of the baby during the day.
4. How long do you plan on waiting to have visitors? I honestly don't want people to come see me in the hospital; however, I do think it may be inevitable. I want people to wait at least until I've been able to breastfeed her and DF and I have been able to bond a little as a family.
5. How long do you plan on waiting to take baby out? As soon as the pediatrician ok's it.
6. Any random thoughts can be inserted here. After the few rough months that DF and I have had, this last weekend was so wonderful. The weekend turned everything right back around for us, or at least thats the way it seems. And I couldn't be happier!!
1. What will your first words to baby be? Hopefully something sweet. After my DH proposed I said "Shut Up"...I always say the wrong things.
2. What will be your first post baby meal? It depends on the time of day.
3. What is your child care situation? My husbands old babsitter will watch out LO 3 days a week (at the most)
4. How long do you plan on waiting to have visitors? Grandparents and my aunt are allowed to visit at the hospital. Everyone else will need to wait.
5. How long do you plan on waiting to take baby out? I'm not really worried about this. I will start going on long walks as soon as I feel up to it.
6. Any random thoughts can be inserted here. I really anxious to have her and can't wait. But I'm starting to get a little nervous. I've never even changed a diaper....and I'm scared for my vagina.
Baby #4; 7/7/2018
1. What will your first words to baby be? I don't know. Hopefully I'll call her by her name...we've been calling her "small fry"
2. What will be your first post baby meal? I've made DH a grocery list for the Safeway down the street (our post-delivery room has a small fridge). The list includes Diet Coke and turkey lunch meat!
3. What is your child care situation? I'll be on leave until June 1. Luckily my work is going through a transition and I will be be expected to put in limited evening hours from home until Sept. After that, we're using an at-home daycare that's two buildings over!
4. How long do you plan on waiting to have visitors? We'll have some hospital visitors and then we'll ask visitors to let us know in advance when they'll be coming over.
5. How long do you plan on waiting to take baby out? Depending on what kind of traveller she is, we'll visit my family 1.5 hours away for Easter. She will also have a pediatrician's appt on our 2nd day home.
6. Any random thoughts can be inserted here. I want to stop nesting. I literally cannot stop moving all day long. I'm worried I'll be exhausted from scrubbing floors on my hands and knees and my water will break!

3. What is your child care situation? Maternity leave for two + months then SIL until the fall.

6. Any random thoughts can be inserted here. I was hoping he was going to come a little early, but at Dr appointment today I found out I was not dilated and cervix hadn't thinned out at all.

2. What will be your first post baby meal? if it is anything like the past few weeks, I'll want a Wendy's hamburger
3. What is your child care situation? This is on the agenda for this week of maternity leave... thankfully I have four months to figure it out
4. How long do you plan on waiting to have visitors? the first two hours will be DH and I, then my parents/sister, then after that, we'll play it by how I feel. My four bfs will probably come sometime while I'm in the hospital and that is about it.
5. How long do you plan on waiting to take baby out? I plan on taking him out for walks as soon as possible, but probably church a week or so after he's born? Major outing with people touching him? Easter.
6. Any random thoughts can be inserted here. Maternity leave rocks (day one almost over) I should have done this earlier... I love going at my own pace!

3. What is your child care situation? Day care but only for about a month because I have the entire summer off.
4. How long do you plan on waiting to have visitors? We will probably have visitors the next day.
5. How long do you plan on waiting to take baby out? Whenever the Dr. says it's ok. I hate being trapped in the house for very long.
