How long does it take to get the IVF ball rolling?

How many months/cycles did it take to start IVF from the time of your last failed cycle until you started?  tia!

We went for our IVF consult in the middle of my last injectible cycle 2ww. I started Lupron about 6 weeks later I think.

My second failed IUI cycle was in July.? We had our appointment for the IVF consult with the doctor on August 21, met with the genetics counselor on August 26th & then I had the nursing consult on September 4th.? AF started on 9/27 & I went in for my day 3 ultrasound & bloodwork on the 29th.? I started BCP that day (for 17 days) & just started Lupron this past Wednesday.? I have an appointment on the 20th for ultrasound & bloodwork & I'm assuming I'll be starting stims sometime after that.? The nurse was thinking we'd have ER on 11/1 & ET on 11/6 (we're doing PGD).? It's been a long wait to get this process going!!

I go to a relatively small clinic. I can start whenever I want and aren't on their schedule.  For IVF #1, as soon as I got AF from the previous cycle, I called, went for CD3 and started BCP.  Had my consult the next week and started stims 4 weeks after the BCP.  It was quick for me, but sometimes it depends on how your clinic schedules things.

I had a failed IUI cycle in July, IVF consult in August, started bcps in early Septemeber and started this IVF cycle October 1st (stims started October 3rd).

Thanks ladies! I already had my consult with the RE, now I am just waiting for the IVF nurse coordinator to call me back.
