I'm glad that posters don't come over here very often with their scare tactics and bomb on the plane stories. Yes, adverse events happen during birth. In the hospital. In birth centers. At home. In low risk pregnancies. In high risk ones. It happens, I get that. I think we all do. Why dwell on it or obsess over it, or encourage others to do the same? If we are aware of the risks we take in life, why do others feel compelled to exaggerate in extreme language certain risks that have less than a 1% chance of happening, while ignoring the greater odds of negative events associated with not choosing a VBAC?
Here's to informed decision making and the end of fear mongering!
