girl middle name poll

We have definitely decided on the first name Hannah for our little girl, but are still trying to decide on a middle name. Our last name has 3 syllables and ends in "ia" so we are thinking a 1 syllable middle name will be nice to keep it a little shorter.

Both of our mom's names are Karen, so we like the idea of doing something to honor them, but we really don't like the name Karen, and it reminds me more of his mom than mine, since the baby's middle and last name would be my MIL full name.

So keeping that in mind, we were thinking about making her middle name Kay, as in K for Karen. What do you think? Is this dumb or pretty?

I like the way you are thinking of honoring them with Kay. Both of our moms are Kathy (one Kathryn and one Kathleen). I wanted to use Kate for a middle name by DH is not interested.
