Tiny Toms falling apart - WWYD?

I bought Kennedy a pair of Tiny Toms on January 27th, and they are absolutely falling apart already.  I love them on her - they are adorable and they are comfortable and easy for her to put on by herself, but this seems crazy.  They have holes in both toes, and the seams that go across the top of her foot are coming apart on both shoes.  Even if she wore them every single day (which she doesn't), I think shoes should last longer than two months, especially shoes that cost over $30.  Am I wrong?  Is that a normal lifespan for kid shoes??  She has had several pair of Converse, and they have all held up great until she outgrew them, so I guess that is what I am comparing the Toms to.  I bought them at Nordstrom, so I guess I could return them, but I don't want to be unreasonable. I mean, she has worn them a lot, but I just expected them to hold up better.  What do you think?

I'd call or email Toms directly.  I had to work with them on an order mishap, and they were GREAT.  I bet if you tell them what you've told us, they'll replace the shoes.  Because yes, that's totally ridiculous.  DS has never worn out a pair of shoes (spendy ones OR cheapies) and he's rough on his shoes.

I bought DD some last fall and for whatever reason she couldn't keep them on her feet -- she kept walking right out of them.  (Side note: does your DD have a similar issue with them or do they stay on her feet pretty well?)  I emailed TOMS and they allowed me to return them for credit.

Bummer! They were sooooo stinkin cute on her. Def call/e-mail Toms directly and let them know. Hopefully she gets some new ones!

I'd call TOMS, BUT, Nordies has the best return policy known to man. So if you have any problem at all with Toms, just take them back to the store and they should at the very least give you store credit/trade them - usually no questions asked.

I saw a picture of Audrey wearing hers and I fell in love with them on babies. I've seen so many kids since then and think they are the cutest thing ever!

You're telling me.  I loved them but it was so annoying because she really couldn't "wear" them since they kept falling off.  I'm tempted to try again in the hopes that I just got a bunk pair.

For the first couple of days, they slipped off her heels a little, but since then they stay on great!  They are definitely her favorite shoes, and she runs around and plays in them a lot.  I would try again.

i'd just go to nordies. they are super awesome there! I took see kai runs there I bought in a different state and didn't have the receipt anymore and thee ordered my new ones and were sent to the house for free.
