Hey guys I desperately need your opinion. Just tonight one of my boys are really hungry! We gave him his last bottle before bed which is always 3 oz but for the past hour he's been really hungry and been asking for more. So before giving it to him I ruled out everything else first from diaper to tummy ache to giving him paci, massaging, burping some more, cleaning out nose and NOPE he is just hungry!! So I kept adding 1 more ounce to his bottle and so far he has inhaled all together 8 oz of milk! I know when he's full will push the bottle away with his tongue so I know he doesn't eat when he's not full. An 8 oz bottle and he's a month old really?? At what age do babies normally eat 8 oz? I forgot. Do I give it to him? What do I do? I need advice please help! :-o

Re: Omg what do I do??
My thoughts, too.
Agree with PP's. Growth spurt. There were times when my guys would suck back ridic amounts of food in short time frames. I always chalked it up to growth spurts.
I can remember one time around the end of December or early January -- the boys would have been hitting their 12 week gs -- and Nathan sucked back 16oz in a 2 hour time frame. Both my husband and I were surprised, but he kept it all down and was clearly hungry.
