Oh Bran, I don't even know what to say. I'm tearing up thinking how hurt you must be. I don't have any words of wisdom, but please know there are people out there who love you and are so happy that you are a part of their lives and wouldn't know what to do if you weren't. It sounds like you've had a life full of uphill battles. I am sure you are a strong individual and with the help from God, you will make it through this obstacle in your life. I hope you find solace and peace within yourself and that your mother sees the err of her ways.

I am so sorry that your mom has said such terrible things to hurt you. Its important that you reach out to your mentors if seems they were a big part of your life and making you the strong person you are today; I think they will remind you what a great person you are. It is incredible that you were able to get past all of the drugs and partying that you grew up around and become the person you are. Oh hunny I am so incredibly sorry that you are going through this. Your mom has a serious mental illness. My aunt did the same thing, said mean and hateful things like this and she even left a baby doll covered in ketchup with a knife through it's heart on my parent's doorstep and said that it was my sister's baby (who was going through infertility struggles at the time). Anyways my aunt has bipolar with borderline tendencies and when she is off her medications she becomes evil. That is the only way I can explain it; she truly becomes evil. She says hurtful things, does hurtful things and in my opinion is dangerous.

At this point you have no mom and I am so incredibly sorry for that. Grieve your loss and move forward. My heart absolutely breaks for you during this very difficult time.

My aunt is now stable and doing well but there is and will always be distance between all of us. The wounds heal but the scars are there.

I hope your mom gets the help she needs. Big big hugs and lots of love.

What awful things to hear from your own mother. Just know that she is the broken one, and obviously is mentally ill. You are not broken, she is. Just keep focusing on that. And all the hateful things that she said- just cast them away. Don't let those words claim you! You are so much more precious than she realizes right now. Hopefully she can find healing, but in the meantime don't let her words have power over you. I know, so much easier said than done.
