Snuggle Bugs Consignment...disappointment

I signed up for the Friday preview and rushed to get there at about 330pm after work.  I really was not impressed with anything they had there.  A lot of clothing was worn out, nubby and had drool stains on it.  I wasn't about to pay $60 for a used fisher price swing either.  I wouldn't recommend going there again.  And I had first day dibs on the stuff.Sad

  • I feel like this is what happens at every consignment I rush to get to.  Where is all the good stuff!?  Thanks for posting this.  I saw it on the news and was going to try and make it tomorrow!

  • Yeah, if you don't go right when they open then you risk missing out on the good stuff. We stood in line outside (which wasn't bad at all) and got in with the first rush for the Friday sale. Within minutes all the good stuff was gone (strollers, furniture, gates, etc) I did score a bunch of really cute shoes for $2/pair and got a nice selection of bathing suits and clothing for both kids.

Sorry to hear you didn't have a good experience!

  • I'm sorry you didn't have a better experience, but the others are right the good stuff goes fast.  I got great deals on toys and clothing for my son.  $60 for a swing seems high, but I bet it was only still there because of hte price.  I got a swing for my son for $20!  If you volunteer a minimum of three hours you get to shop before the craziness of the Friday presale in a moe relaxed atmosphere and with more stuff to chose from.  Maybe try that the next sale?
