Hi Ladies!
I am new and thought a way to introduce myself would be to list the 10 ways ttc has altered me over the last year.
1. Internet junkie. I've never looked up "low vit. D and ttc" more times in my life.
2. Lingerie. I have to pull out the sexy things around O because the pressure is on and I HAVE to make it happen, even if we are exhausted.
3. Science has entered my sex life.
4. My late twenties/early 30's booze fest is over. Wine with dinner. Cocktails after work - no more. Sad.
5. Caffeine has become my enemy.
6. I know every minute detail about my cycle, from the minute my boobs start tingling @ 3 dpo.
7. I notice that every friend around me gets pregnant on their first try or by accident. I had one mid-30's friend who was extremely stressed by the 7 months it took her (not to discount 7 months because every time frame is different).
8. My acupuncturist is like this bright ray of light in my life.
9. I now walk frequently to ensure I get good blood flow to my ovaries. I do like walking, but ya know...
10. I try to plan going out, camping, traveling etc. around ttc. This is just borderline crazy, I know. But I can't help it.
I hope it's okay if I join you. I really need a place to ask questions and talk about this crazy, mind-boggling process with like-minded individuals.

Thank you! It is great to know I am not alone.
This process is so stressful. I try to laugh at myself and it works (sometimes), but I definitely am looking for more knowledge and community to decrease the stress a bit.
I am glad to see a few of you also like acupuncture. I have some funny stories from the acupuncture office, but most of all, I feel normal after visiting her, and a little blissed out even. She gets really happy when I ovulate earlier and stronger, and that my fsh went down by almost 2 points after one month of working with her. She doesn't view these numbers as dreadful, but instead looks at the whole body. We are working at getting my body more in balance after years of pushing (in a very competitive career). Acupuncture helps A LOT!
I understand so much about the camping/music festivals. I have to travel out of the country for work in May and I tried to schedule after O (haha), but it didn't work, so I'll be o'ing by myself out of the country. But I guess I'll have some drinks and just try and relax.
