IVF 2- follow up with RE

So he said he thought I had a very good cycle but there are a few things he wants to tweak.

He had mentioned that the fragmentation looks like the only thing that really stands out to him. He mentioned considering doing assisted hatching this time. He said it can be helpful for eggs that are not high quality and since I am older.

He also said he will put me on dexamethazone (steroid) and I will do a Flare protocal this time around. Honestly I am not sure what any of that really means....I trust him and we will wait and see.

I hate how long it takes to get started again. I am waiting for AF, it has been 3 days since I have been off the PIO shots. He said give it a week and if I don't start, he gave me a script for provera.

Ugggg...here we go again!!

I am AMA and all tests on H came back normal
3 failed IVF with OE and 2 failed frozen DE cycles
Last fresh hail mary DE cycle starting Feb 2013
PAIF/SAIF always welcome

    I also hate how long it takes to start!  I am also waiting on AF after a canceled IVF cycle!  Wait, wait, wait...I feel like it is all we do!!!  Good luck with your cycle!

    Good luck Reb!  I hope the changes your RE is going to make will result in success for you next time.  I am on Dexamethasone.  It can cause insomnia and it definitely increased my appetite.

    IUIs: Gonal-F + Ovidrel + b2b IUI= BFNs
    IVF with ICSI= BFP! EDD 11/25/11
    3/18- Beta #1 452! 3/20- Beta #2 1,026!! 3/27- First u/s- TWINS!
    Our twin boys arrived at 36w5d due to IUGR and a growth discordance

    FET: Medicated FET moved up to 5/23 due to ovulation
    Transferred a 6BB hatched blastocyst- genetically normal female embryo
    BFP! 5/28- 5dp6dt      
    6/1 Beta #1- 223! 6/3 Beta #2- 567!

    Good luck...I'm sure it feels a little better to have a plan despite the waiting, and I hope that the changes lead directly to a BFP!

    Good luck with your next cycle!  I feel like this whole process is always "hurry up and wait" over and over again.  Hope AF makes her appearance soon!
