need recommendation for ob/gyn for the raleigh area

I am new to Raleigh and would so appreciate a recommendation for a great ob/gyn.

I would like to find someone who is very caring, knowledgeable, thorough, and doesn't make you feel like they are just cycling you through.  I can be a bit of a hypochondriac, so I would love to find someone I feel I can really trust.  Anyone have any recommendations?

I've been happy with my experiences at Blue Ridge OB/Gyn.  I see Dr. Gaines now.  It took me a little while to warm up to him but I really like him now.  I also really like Dr. Anya and Dr. Corvin (both women).  Welcome to the area!

I go to atrium OB/gyn over near rex hospital and love them. my favorites are Dr. Beatty, DR. Alvarez, Dr. Zimmerman, and Amy (NP). They were so supportive during my pregnancy and birth of my DS. good luck!

I'm going to second Atrium Ob.  They were awesome when I was pg with DS (and I was definitely a nervous pg woman with him and called a lot), we had some issues with them after delivery with the billing department, but other than that they've been great.  Now that I am pg with #2, I can't imagine being anywhere else and trust them 100%.  I haven't met Dr. Gray yet, but I love the rest of the dr's.

Wilkerson is wonderful-- located adjacent to the birthing center at Rex. I love all the docs I've seen there, but Dr. Homeister is my favorite.

I had a great experience with Dr. Tosky at Capital Area Ob/Gyn, attached to Rex. Good luck!
