Just booked our Disney trip for the Spring and had a question. So excited!! We are wanting to do a character dining experience. Which ones are the best for toddlers? My daugther will be almost 2.5yrs old when we go.
TIA!!!

Chef Mickey's is by far the most popular. We were supposed to do it this last time but because of bad weather earlier in our trip, we had to switch days around and ended up going to a park instead. Planning to try it again next time.
We really like the character breakfast at O'hana at the Polynesian resort. It's good food that is brought to the table so no looking out for characters while at the buffet. The characters are mickey, lilo, stitch, and pluto. The other week we were there and Stitch got on the floor and held Bryce (my youngest ds). It was the sweetest thing. We've always had good character interaction here.
Another faveorite is the Crystal Palace inside magic kingdom. It was Winnie the Pooh and friends. It's a good breakfast buffet and the characters are good as well.
I'm not a huge fan of chef mickey's. Every time we go it's like the characters are rushing through and barely stay long enough for a picture. Plus the food has never been great to us.
She might like some of the Princess ones but since I have two boys we always do Chef Mickey's.
Also...make sure the time you are booking has characters. Like Tusker House only has characters for breakfast but not lunch/dinner. It will show somewhere on each page but make sure to look.
We've done the breakfast at Ohana and the one at Chef Mickey's.
Ohana is my favorite, primarily because it's done family-style. No waiting in a long time for your food. Plus, there's fun games that any toddler would love--a parade and singing as I recall. It's fun!
At Chef Mickey's, one of us had to stay with our daughter while the other went and got food for her. You had to tag-team the buffet line, and the line was long. It took me 5-10 minutes each time.
Re: Disney Question
It depends on who you want to see.

My kids love the Character meal at Crystal Palace in MK. Tigger, Pooh, Eeyore, Piglet. We've always gone at lunchtime.
Tess was terrified of Stitch at 2 years old but she's kind of a big fraidy cat
