I've heard of them but never actually saw them. I will plan on using a cloth diaper/burb cloth or something, but how cute! I love the sock monkey ones!
I have no personal experience, but my cousin who had a baby boy in September, said that when the baby is a newborn (like super newborn), the teepees are too big and don't work.
I got them, and Porn for New Moms, for my girlfriends baby shower as a joke... living in SF her family was really worried that I was a bad influence, so I had some fun with it :-)
She said while cute, the pee pee teepees were not useful at all... they didn't stay on, and were too small. I have always just had another diaper out ready to go and put that over.
In my experience, most boys pee within seconds of the cold air hitting them, so I was always just taught to lift the front of the diaper, and hold it up above them for 10 seconds or so before removing it.
That way, if they DID pee, it hit the diaper. It's never been a problem for me.
Re: Pee-pee Teepee?

I'll never buy them. Just thought it was cute/clever! Haha.

Yes. Someone got us some for DS. Total waste.
