someone please just tell me to do it!

We had a maid service come shortly after DD was born and do a deep clean on the house.  It was wonderful!  We had decided not to have them back and try to maintain ourselves.  Fast forward a month and frankly, it's not getting done.  I hate that when I'm playing with DCs all I can think about is the dirty house and what I should be cleaning.  I had a breakdown the other day and DH said we need to just find it in our budget to make a monthly visit from the maid service work.  I'm thrilled!  But it will make us have to pinch pennies a little tighter and possibly give up a few creature comforts.  So....I can't bring myself to pick up the phone and make the call because I feel guilty about spending that $$ a month when it should go into a college fund or something.  So someone remind me how happy I will be with a clean house and to pick up the phone!!!!!

I always tell anyone who is considering maid service that they will not be without it once they give it a try.  I would get rid of cable and cut other things before I would give up my cleaning service.  It is worth every penny to be able to spend time doing something fun instead of mopping floors and cleaning toilets.  DO IT!  You will be so thankful for it.
