I'm a SAHM, although if the right job presented itself with a decent salary then I might go back to work.  I'm 30 years old and have been married for almost 5 years (this July).  I also have two dogs, both are cocker spaniels.  We also have a "stray" cat that I've been feeding for 3+ years named "Kitty" (original, huh?!).

They are past the puppy stage, so they usually sleep all day.  If they were still puppies I don't think I could handle it, either.

I'm new over here, just came over yesterday.  I've been trying to figure out what is going on over here, lol.  I post a bit, lurk alot.  I'm a SAH Mom to my 2 boys for another month then off to work pt for my hubby.  Not getting much sleep yet so things aren't always puppies and rainbows but I love being a Mom and feel blessed that I get to have a job outside the house and still have my days at home with the kids.  I feel like everything is falling into place and it gets better everyday.

I've only recently been board straddling.  DD is only 8 months, but I'm a rebel like that.  I consider myself more of a Nestie than a Bumpie though.  I just can't talk about babies all day long, even my own.

I'm a raging liberal, married for almost 5 years, one child, two dogs and usually enjoy board drama but the last couple weeks' saga really bored me.  I did the whole "jump to an off board" thing years ago from the Knot, so I'm confident the Bump isn't going anywhere just b/c of a mass exodus.  Plus, I have no real ties to anyone around here, so there's no love lost.

My husband is a chef so he works on average a 15 hr day, 6 days a week so I normally use the bump for company when the kids are asleep. I will try to be more active instead of lurking in the shadows.

I was right there with you until you got to the part about running and camping.  Not a fan of either, but I will have to learn to love to camp for DS and DH.

Normally no, but he has been on a healthy food kick lately so he has been making some pretty yummy stuff. Plus he would never admit it but I know he doesn't particularly like when I cook because I am not very good at it.

I'm a Pets regular, Politics (though I'm not nearly as wise and eloquent as Irish, so I wouldn't call myself a regular poster) and Money Matters regular lurker/sometimes poster.  I used to be much more vocal, but work has picked up in the past few months-so I actually have to do things that warrant my paycheck;(
