DH says I can spell Alasdair however I want. It turns out nobody can spell it anyways so there's little point worring about using the most common spelling. Seriously only two people have spelled it off of the top of their head the same way.
Who knew it would be so mispelled? Oh well, yay me.

Ha! DH felt that way about me with the name Rowan. But I do the kids lessons, playground plays and preschool runs and I have met one too many little sh*t Rowan's recently to be able to use that name.
The question is were they boy or girl Rowans? I actually haven't met any Rowans. By the way, I was thinking yesterday about how we would have to wait until your LO is born to find out how you end up spelling Alasdair. Now that I see this spelling in your sig thing, I actually like it a lot better.
Unfortunately both (I don't like it on girls when spelled this way). The last one we met was at a Starbucks about two weeks ago. A little boy about six months older than my DS. The kid was nice enough but had very poor verbal skills for his age. I`ve yet to meet a Rowan that I actually like, although I`m sure one is out there.
Ha. So true. Congrats on making a final decision... and winning!
