Recurring diaper rash?!?!?

My niece only gets rashes with cloth diapers and it is really frustrating my sister to the point of her wanting to throw in the cloth diaper towel.    It's most likely yeast.....(at least it was when she took her to the dr.).

Suggestions?  Help?

Has she treated the diapers? The yeast can live in the diapers and keep reinfecting.

She has stripped them, but that's it.

What are ways to treat the diapers?    I'm pretty sure she doesn't know.   It's one of those - I've tried nothing and nothing is working!  - type of things ;p  lol!

Also, what detergent is she using. If she is using one that contains enzymes have her find one without and see if that helps.

 DD had a horrible reaction to the enzymes that looked a lot like a diaper rash.
