This check-in is to help remind us that there are things in life that we can be thankful for, proud of, happy about, and things we can look forward to. It?s to remind us that even though we deal with the pain of IF everyday, there are rays of light that help guide our way, without which we may become lost. Hopefully, this will give a lift to those who read it, and a sense of encouragement/hope/optimism to those that participate in it.
This is how it works:
Every day, in a journal, write down at least 3 things that: made you happy, gave you hope, you accomplished, made you proud, etc. Then, once a week, pick out 3 that stand out and share them below. Get those good vibes rolling

1. I saw Kathy Griffin this weekend and she was hilarious
2. My sister and bf went to the show with me, and when we got home, my Dh joined the 3 of us for some very entertaining rounds of Scattergories. Game + beer = funny
3. Things looked good at my u/s yesterday. It looks like I am suppressed like I should be (I'm on bcps) and there weren't any cysts!
1. I am greatful for my husband who I fall more and more in love with every day. Even after being together for over 10 years.
2. I am greatful for my mom and sisters who are always there to get my back and always will be. There is no greater friend then family.
3. I am so phsyched the Red Sox are heading to another championship series. Go Sox!
After 7 years trying to concieve, 3 failed IUIs and 2 failed IVFs, my third IVF was a success!
My Christmas baby turned into a turkey bird! Dillon Richard was born at 34 weeks, 5 days on November 28, 2009 after 10 weeks on bedrest for preeclampsia.

1) Going on a date night tonight w/ DH and I can't wait.
2) University of Alabama won! Roll Tide
3) We're planning a short trip for november and it's going to be so fun!
I'd really like to join - I think I really need this.
1) My husbands college reunion is this weekend and we'll get to see a lot of old friends - some who live very far away.
2) I'm almost done with bcps and will hopefully start stims next week.
3) Even after 3 failed IVFs I still have hope in my heart.
1. Beautiful fall weather this week
2. Got a lot accomplished on a huge new project at work, it seemed overwhelming at first, but it's going to be manageable!
3. Starting a new clomid cycle this week thanks to provera...I'm just glad that I didn't have to endure another 100+day cycle like the last one, so I'm feeling exited!
1. went out with some new friends (who don't have kids!) the other night and had a great time talking about everything except IF! they don't even know we're TTC, and it's wonderful!
2. I actually slept ok last night - no middle of the night waking up and worrying.
3. I find out later today if I'm suppressed and get to finalize the dates for my FET cycle.
1. While my insurance doesn't cover more than 3 IUI procedures or any IVF, they do cover the meds for both unlimited. That will save us a ton of cash. (Hopefully we won't even need to worry as I'm on IUI cycle #3 right now)Yay. So I'm thankful for being lucky enough to live in a state requiring some IF coverage.
2. I was bummed out about my BFN, and my 2 BFFs sent me flowers to cheer me up. I'm thankful I have such great friends!
3. I couldn't catch a cab home yesterday because it was pouring and tough to find an empty one. I called DH and he came and picked me up. He's so sweet.
1. DH is getting laid off from his job...which is scary & sucks...but he currently works 3pm-11pm and I am hoping his next job will have a more normal schedule.
2. I have lost 5lbs on metformin (and changing my eating habits) in 10 days.
3. A client sent me a letter saying that my help is what got him on the road to sobriety. He has been clean (drug addiction) for 140 days & says he can never thank me enough. This is one of the best things I have heard in a very long time!
