Is this a good place to register? We have already registered at Buy Buy Baby and Babies R US but we are not sure about Target. I have "heard" they don't have the best return/exchange policy? Hmmmmm.....

I personally hated registering at Target. They emailed me a month before my shower to tell me that half of the things we registered for are now discontinued. So, we had to go into the store re-register. Then, after my showers I had tons of duplicates from them. It was a PITA. Just my opinion...
BRU and BuyBuyBaby should have everything you need- it gets to be hard to manage 2 registries, let alone 3. And frankly, Target's baby section sucks. They're good for the staples (diapers, formula, etc), but they have very limited gear.

Don't know if you thought of this, but Amazon has a baby registry option too. Most of my family is OOT, so we set up a registry on Amazon, as well as the usual BRU and Target. Most of our in-town family bought from BRU and Target, and most OOT family bought from Amazon. Target is a breeze to return things to *IF* you have a gift receipt or the item is on your registry and shows as purchased on the registry, and get the right cashier. Otherwise, can be PITA if you return things often (I don't know what their limit is per year, but it's low). Agree with PP that Target's selection/pricing on gear is similar to elsewhere and clothing went clearance/OOS with our LOs before they were born, so if you do register there, do this last. Another plus for Amazon: our first child is now almost 2.5 and he still has a baby registry. We use it as a "wish list" for Bdays and Christmas.
Re: Target
Thanks I heard this too....I really think Buy Buy Baby and Babies R US should be plenty....I don't feel like dealing with PITA returns or exchanges
