Or are they pretty equal? I'm just trying to figure out if I should go out and buy some apple juice before Casey's surgery or not. I have to stop BFing him at midnight the night before surgery. He can have clear liquids up to the 4 hours prior to surgery. Nothing by mouth the 4 hours before surgery. He eats (nurses, sips of water, food) all.the.time. So I need to try to get his belly the most full right at that 4 hour mark, in hopes that he doesn't become too much of a beast because of being hungry.
Re: Is apple juice more filling than water?
Did the doctor specifically say no BM? Ours classified it under clear liquids so we didn't have to hold off quite as long. Might be worth a pone call to double check!

I'm pretty sure BM is a clear liquid.
