Hey ladies, looking for recommendations on good smaller, airplane friendly, toddler toys. I'm flying to Europe alone with Ovi in a few weeks....

Re: Best small(er) toys
Ada loves schleich animals. They sell them at specialty toy shops, Toys r Us and Target. they do not take up much room and she will paly with two of them for a long time.
Some of them are small enough to be choking hazards, but some of the bigger animals are fine. We have the zebra, wilderbeast, warthog, leopard, tiger, lion, giaraffe, elephant, and kangaroo. I would stay away from the baby animals because they are small.

For small toys, M just got into things that roll and loves his letter train/Thomas-type trains and the magnets that connect them. We also have some FP farm animals that are small, but with wheels (weird I know!) so they're the best of both worlds. How about stickers and paper? M would go through sheets and sheets of stickers if I kept handing them to him and a few friends buy the big cheap books to keep their LOs busy during church. Small board books are also a go to, especially the dictionary style ones where M can keep pointing out things he knows.
We also have an iPad w/ a few episodes of Sesame Street and some toddler games we can pull out when we get desperate. I haven't flown with it yet but it saved my butt when a car repair went over the 2 hr mark.
My iPad is a joke to DS he keeps pressing the button! lol I LOVE LOVE LOVE the sticker book idea!!!!! Thank you!!!
