Nerves...

I am so nervous because I am 5 months pregnant and I haven't told my boss yet!! 

 I work from home as an online instructor and this is my first year with this school. I am due at the beginning of June, so I will miss the last 2 weeks of school and I'm so stressed because it is my first year working for them. I haven't had my evaluation yet, so I'm worried when I tell them that I'm pregnant, they'll give me a bad evaluation. I know, I'm probably crazy and that won't happen, but please assure me it will be OK! 

I emailed my boss today asking when a good time would be to call him, so now I'm waiting on edge for him to respond and my heart is racing!!

Isn't sad that we get worried about telling our bosses that we're pregnant? It's sad that we live in a society where we have to worry about that. My husband told his work right away and everyone was so excited!

I always get nervous when I've had to tell my boss, but once it's done, what a relief!  Doesn't sound like you'll be missing much time.  I hope it goes well!

I know, I keep reminding myself I will only miss 2 weeks, but I'm still feeling so nervous because it's my first year and I really want to work for them again next year.
