Darn betas

Got my bill for all of those betas I had drawn back in Aug/Sept before my loss and that, plus my prenatal visit #1 at 6.5 weeks -- $147.00!!  Each blood draw was $55 and my insurance only pays part of it.  I haven't even gotten the bill for my karyotype b/w.  Sweeeeeeet.  

Pour me a drink - it's Friday.

    yikes!  that is a sucky reminder.  just pay them $5 a week, they can't do anything to you since you are making an attempt to pay.  LOL

    I could probably quit working if it wasn't for all our medical bills. I should just have my checks sent directly to the Dr. / Lab. Sorry for the sucky reminder.

    Consider yourself lucky... My HCGs were $95/piece plus a fee of $11 each time for venipuncture.  $11 just to stick the dang needle in my arm (and two of the five times she had to stick me twice, although only charged only once).  My insurance, of course, only allows them to bill be a certain part of that, but I'm still paying the yearly deductible.  So whatever insurance doesn't write off, I'm paying 100%.  I had 5 betas done, and 1 progesterone.
