Hi! My name is Jen, my husband and I live in the western burbs (bartlett area) and expecting our first! I am due on 8/31. My hospital is CDH in Winfield. As I am approaching my 2nd trimester, I am looking to sign up for a prenatal water aerobics class. CDH offers them but it's twice a week during the work week which is hard for me, especially with the way I feel most times. I am looking for something in the western or northwestern burbs that is one or two days a week that may offers weekend classes too.
TIA!
Re: Prenatal Water Aerobics in Suburbs & Intro
Welcome! We are not too far from each other, I'm in the St. Charles area! I checked my hospital (Delnor in Geneva) and they have a prenatal aquatics class, here is the link:

Hi. I'm no far from you, I'm in Roselle. I can't think of the name of it right now, but theres the fitness complex over by 59 and 90 (or Higgins) I want to say its Prairie Rock or something to that effect. I know they offer a ton of different water aerobics, I'm not sure if prenatal is included or not, but thats another place that may be worth looking into, depending on how far you want to drive.
Otherwise maybe a park district? I don't know if any of them offer prenatal aerobics.
GL! Hope you find something that fits your schedule.
Looks like we are all pretty close! I'm in Palatine. One of my friends did a prenatal water aerobics class through the Schaumburg Park District. I was thinking of doing one too

Hi,
I just started taking water aerobics at my gym and talked with a personal trainer on good ideas for me in the pool. It's not a prenatal class, just a water aerobics class aimed at strength and cardio. So far, it has been very easy going and fun!
SarahK,
A friend of mine and i were going to start this CDH class in March. How do you like it? Do you recommend it?
Thanks.
I am leaning toward going to the next session. How do you like it?
