I had the vag cam and I am not dilated or bleeding. Hoping we can pull a miracle out here. My OB is consulting with perimatologists now. I was offered a D&E right away which I absolutely declined. We will be giving this baby every chance at life.
Momma to 2 sweet girls here on earth and a precious baby boy in heaven
Re: First updste
I am praying for your miracle.
Can they do an amnioinfusion? I've read just a little about it...but it seems like a great idea for women who are candidates for it...
Hang in there, Mama...
I am so sorry you are going through this. You and your family are in my thoughts and prayers.
you know, this group of women (and our kids) have gone through some pretty extraordinary things, and lil' Q is no exception to this. You tell that kid to SIT TIGHT, for that fluid to fill back up, and for things to get BACK TO BORING really quick and stay that way.
We insist ;-)
(dupe)
I cannot believe they suggested a D&E????

Just now logging in and catching up. I am SO sorry you are going through this. You and little Q are in my thoughts and I am wishing for the best.
I don't know if they've determined how much fluid you lost (and I apologize if one of your posts specified and I'm not remembering), but there is a bumpie I know (and pretty prolific blogger) who was losing fluid around this same point in pregnancy with her twins several years ago, and they made it many, many more weeks and are now healthy toddlers. I don't know how parallel her story is, but I know that she was on bedrest a very long time and drinking a ton to replenish lost amniotic fluid. Her blog is nbjenni.blogspot.com, here is a post from right after she went to the hospital: https://nbjenni.blogspot.com/2008/06/update_20.html. I apologize if hearing/reading this makes things harder but just in case it was helpful I wanted you to have some hope and perhaps if your stories are similar you could reach out to her and find out exactly what happened and how they were able to keep her little ones baking so long. Or let me know if you would like me to contact her, I also know how to find her on FB and can do so ASAP if you'd like.
Much love and thinking of you guys.
