bad news

so i went in for my first appt. - 8 weeks. they did another ultrasound and said the baby was only measuring 6 weeks 3 days and they didnt find a heartbeat. which means i guess my baby is gone and I wont be on the board for a while now.

AmJur, I am so, so sorry for your loss.I wish I had words of comfort for you, but having gone through this, I know that it hurts immensely and there's nothing that can make that pain go away. AmJur, I am so so sorry for your loss. I agree with Amanda, you should definitely find your way to the miscarriage/loss board, as I know talking to people who have been there can be very helpful. If you ever need to vent, though, feel free to do so here or PM me. (((hugs)))

Thank you everyone. Right now I really dont know what to do. We will keep trying. I just cant believe it. They want to do a d & c and i just cant bear it.

Yes -- sorry. I didnt have anyone's number. My appt was moved to 8:30 am this morning because of the blizzard last week. I thought it would be short and then I could meet up w/everyone.

AmJur, if you are unsure of a D&C you can also try acupuncture as an alternative option. Don't let a doctor force you into a D&C if you are not comfortable or ready to have one. Just wanted to throw the acupuncture suggestion out there for you!

Oh good idea about the acupuncture. We had tried that at one point for fertility, but then the lady running the place we found moved to madison. I'll have to see what I can find.
