I had a rough night again last night with DS waking with what felt like every 10 minutes. I was in and out of bed to keep putting him to sleep, and was totally miserable this morning. Gotta' love DH today for taking him for the morning, and letting me 'try' to rest til 12ish. I still took my Zoloft at 8:30 (when DS woke), and tried to sleep, but it didn't really happen. I just tossed and turned for hours.
We had a busy day with my MIL and her sister who is visiting from Cali. We had a very nice lunch, and walked around the mall. Then this evening I had to do laundry at my mom's, since we are without a washer/dryer.
Overall, today was another good day. I had one intrusive thought that I think I did get a little lost in... But besides that, today went well.
DH has a job interview this Thursday. I don't think I mentioned that he lost his job a few weeks ago, adding to my stress lately. But the interview coming up is a positive thing, and likely helped with my mood today.
A negative today is that we are anticipating ANOTHER awful winter storm here in NJ that will likely have us stuck in the house, and possibly with power outages over the next few days. *sigh* I can't even see the field across from our building because there is a 20 foot wall of snow from the plows clearing our parking lot. Snow is pretty when it's falling. I just wish it would melt right after...
I hope you are all doing well. I feel like I want to tell all of you every day how much it means to me to be able to express myself here on this board, and have the support. I love you ladies!
Re: Zoloft week 2 day 1.
ugh, the snow stinks....well I imagine it does, being from S. Louisiana I don't see much snow, nevermind a wall of snow.
I remember around 7-9 months we tried CIO with DS. It's tough for a few nights but so worth it. I want to say- if I'm remembering correctly- it worked way better at 9 months.
oh, and I'm exactly a week behind you in taking meds. today was day 1 on zoloft for me.

What is your dosage on the Zoloft? How did it make you feel for your first dose? Do daily updates, I want to read!
The hard thing with CIO right now is that we are in a one bedroom apartment... So with us sharing a bedroom, it's almost impossible to succeed with CIO. And now he is standing in his crib...
It's up in the air right now as to whether or not we will find a new place to live when #2 comes. Another stress factor!!! We might be the four of us in this tiny place!!!
I don't know if I'll remember daily updates, lol.
I took my first pill last night (at 9) and I don't know if it was the medicine or the time (11), but I was so drowsy, I felt like my eyes were cross-eyed. I felt heavy. I'm glad I decided to take the medicine last night instead of this morning, i just hope it lasts all day.
when I was on wellbutrin they had to add another pill to my day or give me XR.

The first day I took it at night too, and I felt pretty 'droopy'. Lol.. That's the only way I can really explain it. I felt like things were blurred with my vision the first night. I'll do an update later for today, but surprisingly I am not feeling drowsy this morning from the meds. That's a first...
