Has anyone been told by their RE's that you have a better chance of conceiving via ART since you've already had a baby? Just wondering...

No. If you are having unexplained secondary infertility, your success rates are the same as those couples diagnosed with primary infertility, unfortunately. This was the first thing I asked my RE.

Well, it depends a bit on what your issues are, I think. Definitely for unexplained, as the pp said, that's right.
For us, my only bad bloodwork is related to low levels of progesterone and testosterone, and DH's only marginally bad results were in morphology.
So he says we are awesome candidates for IVF and even to some degree IUI, and he specifically said he would be more worried about DH's morphology issue if we didn't have kid #1. And our chemical pregnancy was also in a sense good news to him.
So it sort of depends. But overall, I think PP is definitely right.

Our RE says that in general it is good news that DH's sperm is able to fertilize my eggs and I am able to carry a child to term, so it takes a little of the guess work out of the situation.
