OB recommendation Columbia/Laurel Area

I have been seeing the midwives at Espisito, Mayer and Hogan. I have been unimpressed so far and am pretty unhappy with the level of care. Any other OB recommendations in the area?

  • I switched from Esposito, Mayer, and Hogan to Capital Women's Care in Clarksville. Best move ever. I was similarly unimpressed with EMH.

I'm glad it isn't just me. I mean they can't even get my name right when the file is sitting right in front of them.

  • I also use Capital Women's Care in Clarksville...Love them!
  • I haven't had any problems with EMH...but this is my first. Has anyone had any birthing/delivery experience with them? If they aren't great now...I am wondering how they will end up being then.
  • I delivered my son with EMH in 2008.  I was happy with the care I received.  I started with the midwives but when my blood pressure incresed, I switched to an OB.

  • I am pretty happy with The Women's OB-Gyn Group in Columbia (Little Patuxent Parkway).  I switched to them upon having complications during my 12-16 weeks.
  • Can the women's group deliver at HCG, or just St. Agnes?
