HE prewash- spin/no spin?

We have an HE washer.  For the cold prerinse/prewash cycle you run before the hot wash, what do you do?  Low spin to get the poopy water out before the hot wash or no spin so that the dipes are more fully saturated?

I don't spin. Otherwise my machine struggles with getting enough water back into the drum during the wash cycle to completely sud, agitate, and clean the diapers. I've never had a problem with my diapers not getting clean when I don't spin the pre-wash rinse. My washer drains the rinse water, just doesn't spin. so most of the nasty water is gone before the wash cycle starts anyways.
