Fever/teething question

H has had a fever off and on since Monday. This morning it came back and was 101.8. She has no other symptoms, and hasn't had any other symptoms all week, so I gave her some Motrin and it was down to normal within an hour. She was in a great mood after I gave her the meds. She's getting two new teeth, so I'm sure teething is the culprit here. But at what point do you call/take them to the pedi when they've had an off and on fever? She's never really had fevers from teething before, but her molars are coming in and that's supposed to be worse, right?

I responded to your other question before reading this one. Since she has a low grade fever I would continue to give her the antibiotics just in case. It very well could be from the molars. Personally I wouldn't call the pedi for a 101 fever if it goes away with meds. I hope H starts to feel better.

I would call the Pedi just to see what they think but personally I think 101.8 is too high to be a teething fever.
