Do you add a tip when doing carryout and paying with a debit/credit card?

"Carryout" means that I go and pick it up.  Why would I tip "with gas prices so high" when I'm picking it up?

Wait a minute..I am still suffering the "Mondays" I was thinking delivery. so, my answer is no.

Screw the carry-out tip. The only service you get is from the person at the cash register.

That's what I've always done.  Tonight, this lady was adamant on leaving a tip on carryout.  Her husband thought she was crazy,so did I.
