I just saw your response to my earlier CIO post because the Nest is just a complete mess today. I responded there but wanted to make sure you saw my response to you.
I didn't mention in my post that I did feed DS. He got 6 ounces at 2:30 when we woke him up to feed him as the book suggested. He barely woke up and went right back to sleep without a peep. He was not hungry at 5...I promise. I would never starve my kid. When you have been through what we have been through for the last 5 months and have a child who is non-stop fussy and can go about 30 minutes awake before having a meltdown because he is that exhausted, I'll listen to your advice. I did not let him cry so that I could get extra sleep. I did it because he needs the sleep. The poor child has been sleep deprived for months. I appreciate the fact you are anti-CIO and would love to not have to do it but we have tried a bunch of other things and other methods and nothing has worked. We are doing whats best for us...and its working! I don't mind the flames...I'm a big girl and know I am doing what is best for MY child.
