Does anyone else do this? (confession)

Disclaimer:  I'm SERIOUSLY embarrassed to admit this.

Is anyone else taking HPTs frequently?  I had a ton accumulated over the long time we TTC so I keep taking them, then I have a meltdown if the line isn't as dark as before (well, hi, duh, it's 7pm and you've been drinking water all day - OF COURSE IT'S NOT AS DARK!)

I got my beta drawn today and I'm waiting for the results so I'm a little crazy today!

    Me, me, me!  Well, not anymore...but I did for the first week after the initial + on a digital.  I was so nervous and I just couldn't believe it, so I just kept on testing!  It's like I was waiting for that line or the word "pregnant" to disappear, but it never did and I'm forever thankful.

    Nooo! For your own sanity, I would stop. I stopped charting/testing completely after I confirmed with a blood test

    I did this this morning!  I took too on Sunday afternoon that were positive very quickly and very dark (one $1 store brand, and one clear blue digital). 

    This morning when I tested (granted on a $1 store test) it wasn't as dark or change as quickly.

    guilty! We told our parents first and just to make sure it didn't change I took one before telling our parents. Even AFTER it was confirmed by a nurse LOL!

    I did about a week ago but only because I had a digital left over! I'm sure if I had more IC tests I would still be taking them from time to time. No shame!

    I Do! Not as much as I was but I did yesterday. I might as the week progresses to. and then again maybe the week of my first appt. I dunno if it even means anything at that point it's not like I could tell if something is wrong from poas! :) But your not alone!

    I did when I first found out.  I took 5 over a course of 3 days.  And if I had more I would have kept going!  =)  Now I don't, but I still want to sometimes if I'm not "feeling" pregnant.  =0)

    I bought a box of 3 - first one was definitely positive (not faint at all), but I took the other two over the weekend b/c it's fun getting positives :-)

    No, just for my own sanity. And I also heard that once your hcg levels get so high (like around 7 weeks maybe?) the tests may not be as accurate.

    Yes, I had a stash of cheapies in my closet. Over the past five days I've peed on 20, even the blood work didn't do it for me. Embarrassed

    I did it this morning.  I told myself I'd wait til tomorrow since that would be a week since I first found out, but I caved.  Luckily, still 2 lines.

    I'm out of tests now, so I shouldn't have the temptation anymore.

    Good to know we aren't alone, isn't it?  Wink

    I took 3 extra to make sure it was still +.  I told my DH, "WE'RE STILL HAVING A NUGGET!"  I will be taking another one next week to make sure it's still positive before we tell the family at Christmas Eve dinner!  I guess we are all still in shock and the reality didn't hit us yet!  If 10 positives don't convince us, what will?!?!

    I think I took 6 last week when I first found out, over the course of 3 days.  I decided to do one more this morning.  I think I'm done now, although I have a bunch of cheapie test strips, so it's not really a big deal.
