I dealt with PPD issues and just feeling distant and off since my son was born. A couple weeks ago I was in the middle of an insomnia-filled night and was desparately googling what could be going on. I discovered magnesium deficiency. Apparently it is very common in americans as our soil is very weak and our diet low in magnesium. Childbirth also depleted magnesium stores.
I started taking supplements and INSTANTLY felt sooo much better. Im sleeping now, don't have that foggy brain, and I have so much more energy. I FINALLY feel like myself again!
Im not by any means saying that this is going to cure everyone or be a miracle. But it might be worth at least trying out. It worked for me!
