WWYD???

Our little man is getting tubes places tomorrow and we have be at  the surgery center @ 7am.....   We also have a 3 year old  so do we try and see if we can get someone to come stay with her so we both can go or does one stay here with her and the other take the 10 month old to surgery?!?  Thanks!

    The part of me that has been through tubes surgery says "it'll be fine, take him by yourself and it's no big deal".  The part of me that's a mom says "get someone to come over".  

    Do you have anyone close by that can come help you out?  The tubes surgery really is no big deal, but when they take them away from you it's the hardest thing and I absolutely lost it.  I wouldn't have been okay without DH there.  And when they wake up they're really out of it for a couple of minutes so it's nice to have someone there to help out.   BUT.  If you can't get anyone to come help, it really is something you can manage on your own.  DD was out of my arms for maybe 6 minutes.  And she was the same age as your little guy when she had them done last January.

    If it's easy to find a sitter, get one, otherwise, I wouldn't worry about having just one of you go!
