I've lost three pounds since last week. Yaaaaay! It's not a lot but it's a start and motivating. I've cut out my beloved Mountain Dew and Dr. Pepper, other sweets and fast food and cut back on portions. Every now and then I do let myself have something but just a tiny bit. I've also started drinking water & eating ice chips at work. My co-worker and I go on a 30-45 minute walk almost everyday on our lunch and I'm exercising at home (today was the bike, last night a workout dvd). It's great I've got the BL group on here, I started a Pound for Pound Challenge group for my local friends on FB and my work team is trying to be healthier. After hearing us talk about exercising and our eating habits one of my teammates has started bringing water and not her usual sodas. Yesterday she said, "look what I have!" Love it. I'm so serious about getting rid of all this fat this time and being healthy and fine this summer.

I am SOOOOO happy for you! Congratulations on taking the first few steps.
And I guarantee you, everything else is going to seem so much better if you keep up with the healthy lifestyle. I wish I could remind MYSELF of that and get going myself. Argh! Maybe you posting this will be the extra kick in the booty that I need.
