I think I remember seeing before that if you push 2 twin sized mattresses together that they are the same size as a queen. Does anyone know if that is accurate?
Right now my 2 youngest sleep in a full sized bed together. I had planned on getting them new twin sized beds with my tax return, but when I mentioned it to them they got upset saying that they want to keep sleeping together so I had shelved the idea temporarily. However, I fell asleep in their bed last night and woke up this morning with a terrible back ache, their mattress is shot. So now I really want to get them something new and thought about just pushing their beds together and then I could separate later. So I'm wondering if I can do that and then use a queen sized mattress pad and sheet to make it more like one big bed.
