Intro & a question

Hey everybody! I've been hiding out and following a lot of the posts for the past 6 or 7 months now. I'm a SAHM to a 7 month old, beautiful, very active, funny little guy named Jonah. We live right outside of McDonough and do a lot of things at home to keep entertained. I would love to meet other moms in the area because we moved here right before DS was born and only know the people my husband works with. When is a good time to start playdates and what are some other things/places we could go or do to meet other moms with babies DS's age? TIA!

    welcome!  there is a meetup group called hip moms happy babies.  I went to one or two of their events but I really don't have time for it because I work.

    Hi, I'm at SAHM too but we just moved from Atlanta to Minneapolis. I took my DS to a few playdates at your son's age and found that they're really just for the mommies at this point--but thats totally okay haha. Try meetup.com for groups in your area, or try age specific story time at your local library. I also met a few moms on Atlanta's Moms like me website
