NEW and need referral

Hi all,  I have an 8 week old little boy and have been on Zoloft for 2 weeks after about a month of melting down daily and not wanting to be a mom.  I've just started therapy and like the woman i'm working with but was hoping to find a psychiatrist or aprn who specializes in post partum depression so that i can feel secure with any med changes or additions and breastfeeding.  I live in Simsbury, Ct (northwest of Hartford) and was wondering if anyone had any suggestions?  

Thanks and hang in there everyone.  Today is the first day that I haven't felt miserable and I'm hoping this feeling continues.

You need to call or go to your insurance companies website and find a list of providers who are covered, you may be able to sort that list by speciality and find someone who lists PPD. Also, call your OB and see if they have referrals. You should have a local Connecticut Bump board.
